Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when an Order for a Digital Product or Personalized Service may be refunded, replaced, corrected, or re-performed.
This Refund Policy ("Policy") explains when an Order for a Digital Product or Personalized Service may be refunded, replaced, corrected, or re-performed. It forms part of Oravanto LLC’s Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Capitalized terms used here have the meanings given in the Terms.
By placing an Order, you agree to this Policy and the applicable Order Terms. A specific Order Term controls over this Policy only for that Order. Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. General Refund Principles
Refund eligibility depends on what was purchased, whether digital access or service performance has begun, the reason for the request, the work or content already supplied, and any mandatory law that applies.
Refunds are not provided merely because a Customer changes their mind, no longer needs the purchase, expected a different career outcome, or did not obtain an interview, job offer, promotion, recruiter response, ATS result, or other outcome that Oravanto does not guarantee.
2. Digital Products
2.1 Immediate Delivery and Change-of-Mind Requests
Digital Products are supplied electronically and may be delivered immediately after payment and fraud checks.
Once Oravanto has enabled a direct download or sent a valid download or access link by email or another stated method, the purchase is generally final and non-refundable merely because the Customer:
- changed their mind, no longer needs the item, or did not use or download it;
- selected the wrong product, role, design, language, or bundle;
- did not review the description, preview, file format, software, font, device, or compatibility requirements, or expected an identical visual result after editing, printing, conversion, or use in third-party software.
This section does not restrict any mandatory withdrawal right or remedy.
2.2 Missing, Inaccessible, Defective, or Misdescribed Products
If a paid Digital Product is not received, its link fails, the file is corrupted, the wrong file is delivered, or the product materially differs from its description, contact Oravanto within 14 calendar days after delivery or expected access.
This period does not limit any longer or non-waivable right under applicable law.
Oravanto will investigate and, where appropriate, restore access, resend the link, supply the correct or replacement file by email or another reasonable method, repair the defect, or provide another legally appropriate remedy.
If Oravanto cannot supply a usable and conforming product within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, Oravanto will provide a proportionate price reduction or refund, including a full refund where the product as a whole cannot reasonably be used, as required by the contract and applicable law.
For a bundle, a remedy may be limited to the affected item unless the problem materially deprives the bundle as a whole of its value.
Where a Digital Product is refunded and the law permits, the relevant license ends and the Customer and Authorized End User must stop using, sharing, or distributing the refunded product and delete retained copies.
3. Personalized Services
3.1 Refund Requests Before Work Begins
This section applies to Oravanto’s CV & Resume Writing Services, Cover Letter Writing Services, and LinkedIn Optimization Services.
Oravanto treats a refund request received within six hours after Order confirmation as received before substantive work began, regardless of internal scheduling.
A request within this period (or later if substantive work has not begun) will normally qualify for the amount paid less actual nonrecoverable third-party payment-processing, cross-border, currency-conversion, or bank charges, capped at 10% of the amount paid where permitted by law.
The 10% is not automatic; only the actual lower amount will be deducted.
After six hours, eligibility depends on the work stage.
Substantive work begins with review of Client Materials or the questionnaire, role or market research, content strategy or structure, drafting or rewriting, document design or formatting, or LinkedIn recommendations.
3.2 Refund Requests After Work Begins
If a refund is requested after substantive work begins but before the first draft is delivered, Oravanto will normally refund 50% of the amount paid for the affected Personalized Service.
The retained 50% covers work already undertaken and transaction costs, so no further processing-charge deduction will normally apply.
For separately priced services or components, the refund may be limited to the affected component.
Once the first draft has been delivered, no change-of-mind or subjective-dissatisfaction refund will normally be provided.
The first draft contains the core strategy, writing, and presentation work and is supplied for review and revision; it is not merely a preliminary sample.
This rule remains subject to mandatory withdrawal rights and remedies for a non-conforming service.
3.3 Revisions, Corrections, and Service Concerns
Customers should report service concerns and request included revisions within 14 calendar days after first-draft delivery, or any longer period stated in the Order Terms.
This does not restrict a longer or non-waivable right under applicable law.
Oravanto will use the included revisions to address reasonable feedback within the original brief and make every reasonable effort to deliver a high-quality result.
Personal preference or dissatisfaction does not create a refund right where the deliverable materially follows the agreed brief and Order Terms.
Unused or expired revisions have no cash value.
An error introduced by Oravanto will be corrected without charge and will not reduce the purchased revision allowance.
If a Personalized Service materially fails to conform to the contract, Oravanto may first correct or re-perform the affected work within a reasonable time.
If that is impossible, unsuccessful, or would cause significant inconvenience, an appropriate price reduction or refund will be provided as required by applicable law.
A refund is not due for delay, inaccuracy, or rework caused by incomplete, late, inaccurate, unlawful, or materially changed Client Materials or instructions; failure to respond or provide feedback; a request outside the purchased scope; unauthorized Customer edits; or failure to review a deliverable before use.
This does not exclude responsibility to the extent Oravanto caused or contributed to the problem.
4. Mandatory Consumer Rights
If applicable law gives a consumer a cooling-off, withdrawal, refund, or other remedy right that cannot lawfully be excluded, that right remains unaffected.
Where legally permitted, a consumer’s right to withdraw from a Digital Product may end once electronic supply begins after the consumer has expressly consented to immediate supply and acknowledged the resulting loss of the withdrawal right.
If a consumer expressly requests a Personalized Service to begin during an applicable withdrawal period, the consumer may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work properly performed before withdrawal.
The right may end after full performance only where the legally required request, consent, and acknowledgment have been obtained.
5. Duplicate, Incorrect, or Unauthorized Charges
A verified duplicate charge, an amount charged in error, a verified unauthorized charge, or a payment collected for an Order that Oravanto declines will be voided or refunded.
If you do not recognize a payment, contact support@oravanto.com promptly and also follow any time-sensitive instructions from your card issuer or payment provider.
Promotional purchases are refunded only up to the amount actually paid for the eligible portion.
Any transaction tax collected for that portion will be adjusted or refunded where required.
Oravanto is not responsible for exchange-rate differences, bank charges, or card-issuer fees that it did not impose or receive.
6. Refunds Where Oravanto Declines or Ends an Order
If Oravanto declines or ends an accepted Order for a reason not caused by the Customer’s breach, Oravanto will refund the amount paid for the unprovided portion.
A full refund will normally apply where no Digital Product has been delivered and no work on a Personalized Service has begun.
If an Order is suspended or ended because of payment failure, suspected fraud, unlawful or deceptive instructions, abuse, infringement, repeated material non-cooperation, or another material breach, no refund is due for a Digital Product already supplied or work properly performed.
Any refund for an unprovided portion will depend on the reason, the applicable Terms, and mandatory law.
7. How to Request a Refund or Remedy
Email support@oravanto.com as soon as reasonably possible.
Include:
- the Order number and purchasing email address;
- the product or service concerned;
- a clear description of the issue and the outcome requested; and
- relevant screenshots, files, error messages, or communications.
Oravanto may request reasonable additional information and an opportunity to investigate or correct the issue.
A request should normally be made by the purchasing Customer.
An Authorized End User or authorized representative may report a problem, but Oravanto may verify authority and will issue any monetary refund to the original payer or payment method.
8. Refund Decisions and Processing
Oravanto will communicate its decision by email within two business days after receiving the request and information reasonably needed to assess it.
Within two business days after receiving the request and required information.
Normally within 10 business days after the request was first received, if approved.
Payment providers, card networks, or banks may require additional time before the credit appears.
If the original payment method cannot technically receive the refund, Oravanto may request verified information for another lawful method.
Oravanto will not send a refund to an unrelated person.
Oravanto will not deduct its payment-processing costs from a refund required because of a duplicate, incorrect, or verified unauthorized charge; Oravanto’s decision not to provide the Order; an uncured non-conformity; or mandatory law.
A refund does not include compensation for indirect loss or a career outcome, subject to any non-excludable legal right.
9. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Please contact Oravanto first so that a delivery, quality, or billing issue can be investigated.
This request does not prevent the Customer from exercising a lawful card or consumer right and does not shorten any provider deadline.
Oravanto cannot issue a duplicate refund for an amount already subject to a chargeback or payment dispute.
During a dispute, Oravanto may provide the payment provider with checkout consent, Order confirmation, delivery or access records, work records, communications, and other relevant evidence.
Knowingly disputing an authorized and properly supplied purchase on false grounds may breach the Terms.
10. Policy Changes, Governing Terms, and Contact
The version of this Policy accepted when an Order is placed will continue to govern that Order unless a change is required by law or both parties agree otherwise.
Future changes will be posted on the Website with an updated date and will not remove an accrued Customer right without a lawful basis.
This Policy is interpreted together with the Terms, including their provisions on governing law, jurisdiction, complaints, liability, and mandatory consumer rights.
