Capitalized commercial terms used in this Policy — including Customer, Order, Digital Product, Personalized Service, Client Materials, and Authorized End User — have the meanings given in Oravanto's Terms and Conditions.

• The Oravanto website, contact forms, service-order forms, and website upload facilities;
• Digital Product purchases and delivery;
• CV/resume writing, cover-letter writing, LinkedIn optimization, interview-preparation resources, and related Personalized Services;

• Website analytics and security technologies described below.

This Policy does not govern third-party websites, platforms, or services that have their own privacy policies, even if we link to them.

3. Personal Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide

Depending on how you interact with Oravanto, you may provide:

• Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, location, and billing address.
• Order and service information, such as the product or service purchased, target role, career level, preferred market, deadlines, instructions, and revision requests.
• Career-service documents and content, including CVs, resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profile information, employment history, education, qualifications, skills, achievements, professional memberships, project information, languages, photographs, and any other information included in the files you submit.
• Communications and support information, including inquiries, feedback, complaints, attachments, and records of our correspondence.
• Transaction-related information, such as purchase amount, currency, date, payment status, transaction identifier, card brand, and last four digits where provided to us by Stripe. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number or card security code.
• Information about another person, such as a referee's name and contact details, when you include it in a CV or supporting document.
• Information about an Authorized End User, when you place an Order on behalf of another person.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, operating system, language, and device identifiers;
• Usage information, including pages viewed, links selected, referring and exit pages, dates, times, session duration, and interaction events;
• Cookie and similar-technology information, subject to the choices available through our consent-management tools; and
• Security and diagnostic information, including logs, failed requests, fraud indicators, and error reports.

3.3 Information Received from Other Sources

We may receive limited personal information from service providers involved in your interaction with Oravanto. For example, Stripe provides payment confirmation, transaction status, billing details, and fraud-prevention signals; analytics providers provide website-performance information; and hosting or security providers may provide technical logs.

4. How and Why We Use Personal Information

We use personal information only for defined business and legal purposes. Where applicable privacy law requires Oravanto to identify a lawful basis for processing, the table below describes the basis generally relevant to each processing activity.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether our business need is necessary and proportionate and whether your rights and interests require stronger protection. Where consent is the applicable basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

If we need personal information to enter into or perform a contract and you do not provide it, we may be unable to process an order, prepare the requested service, deliver files, or respond meaningfully to your request.

5. Client Documents and Career Information

Career-service clients may submit CVs, resumes, LinkedIn information, questionnaires, and supporting documents through the website upload facility or by email. We use this content to evaluate the request, prepare and revise the purchased service, communicate with the client, and maintain a limited service record.

Website upload is preferred where available. Ordinary email is not guaranteed to be secure in transit, so you should remove unnecessary sensitive content before emailing documents.

If a Customer places an Order for another person, Oravanto may process personal information about both the Customer and the Authorized End User identified in the Order. The Customer must be authorized to provide the Authorized End User's information and Client Materials.

5.1 Information About Other Individuals (References)

Client Materials may include limited information about referees, former supervisors, colleagues, or other individuals where relevant to the requested service.

Before providing such information, you must be entitled to provide it and should limit it to what is genuinely relevant, typically a name, title, employer, and a professional contact method.

We use reference information only to prepare, revise, deliver, and support your purchased service. We do not independently contact referees, verify their information, use their details for marketing, include them in templates or examples, or disclose their information to any third party or platform, except where a service provider processes it on our behalf solely to operate our systems or where disclosure is required by law.

5.2 Sensitive Personal Information

Oravanto does not request or intentionally collect information concerning health or medical conditions, religious or philosophical beliefs, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, trade-union membership, genetic or biometric data used for identification, sex life or sexual orientation, or criminal allegations, convictions, or offenses.

Please do not include this type of information in Client Materials or any communication you send us.

Please do not include copies of passports, national identification documents, bank-account details, or other information that is unnecessary for the product or service you have purchased.

6. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Every purchased service is prepared and reviewed by Oravanto based on professional writing and career-advisory experience.

7. Payments and Stripe Checkout

Oravanto uses Stripe to process payments through checkout presented on or integrated with the Oravanto website. Payment details entered at checkout are transmitted to and processed by Stripe and relevant financial institutions.

Oravanto does not receive or store your full payment-card number or card security code.

We receive limited transaction information needed to confirm and fulfill the purchase, maintain accounting records, process refunds, respond to disputes, and prevent fraud.

Stripe may process personal information for payment processing, identity or fraud checks, security, legal compliance, and its own permitted purposes under Stripe's privacy policy and terms.

Stripe and the financial institutions involved in a payment may process information in countries outside your place of residence. You should review Stripe's privacy information at Stripe Privacy Policy.

8. Cookies, Analytics, and Do-Not-Track

The website may use cookies and similar technologies that are essential for website operation, checkout, security, preferences, and analytics. A separate Cookie Policy will provide more detailed information about the cookies used, their providers, purposes, and durations.

8.1 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website, measure content and page performance, identify technical issues, and improve the website. Google Analytics may process device, browser, IP-derived, cookie, and interaction information on our behalf.

We do not enable Google Signals or advertising-feature data collection within Google Analytics, and we do not use Google Analytics data for advertising purposes. Where consent is legally required, Google Analytics will be activated only after the visitor provides the relevant consent.

8.2 Do-Not-Track and Cross-Site Tracking Disclosure

Most web browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is currently no common industry standard for recognizing and responding to DNT signals, our website does not respond to them differently at this time.

Google Analytics may collect information about how you interact with our website, and Google has separately stated that it may receive information about activity on other websites and apps that use Google's services.

Personal information may be accessed, stored, or processed in the United States and other countries from which Oravanto or its authorized service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your country.

Your source materials and your final deliverable are retained under different periods because they serve different purposes: source materials are the raw information you gave us, while the final deliverable is what we produced and may need to reference later to support you.

You may ask us to delete either one earlier by contacting us, subject to the applicable exceptions.

A verified deletion request may result in earlier deletion unless we must retain the information for a legal obligation, payment record, fraud prevention, dispute, or other lawful reason.

Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups until they are overwritten through ordinary backup cycles.

12. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved.

• Limited access to client files;
